Calendar of Events

50plus Senior News publishes a county-specific calendar of events section in each monthly issue. Libraries, senior centers, parks, support group, and other community programs/organizations are encouraged to send up to three events per county per month. Events should be of interest to the 50-plus demographic, and all events must be free and open to the public.

Because 50plus Senior News is a monthly publication, events must be submitted by the 15th of the month prior for possible inclusion. For example, events that will occur in June must be submitted by May 15th. 50plus Senior News retains the right to reject submissions. As an entirely advertiser-supported newspaper, 50plus Senior News requires events that promote, advertise, or otherwise benefit a business to be publicized through paid advertising.
